چکیده

The purpose of this article is to demonstrate how the Wittgenstein Tractatus deals with themes related laws nature, as well metatheoretical principles science. More specifically, our intention expose notions scientific representation linked such those causality and induction. As a starting point, we propose that notion non-precedence one theory over another Hertzian inspiration, which argues “one image may be more suitable for purpose, another” (HERTZ, 1956, p. 3). an unfolding notion, systems geometric Hertz Boltzmann will serve in order laws, like law causality, form not content, only represent network (any method) that, after all, optional. On other hand, induction have no logical basis their effect, wake what Hume thought, psychological. Like Tractatus, its Philosophy Science cannot understood outside broader context, proper context criticism language. Therefore, presented here intends divorced from relationship between logic, language science, since, view, these are three pillars support Logico-Philosophicus.

متن کاملKnowledge , Causality and Temporal Representation
In this paper, a formal semantic account of the simple past tense in text is ooered. The contributions to the interpretation of text made by the text's syntactic structure, semantic content, aspectual classiication, world knowledge of the causal relations between events, and Gricean pragmatic maxims are all represented within a single logical framework. This feature of the theory gives rise to ...
متن کاملThe Scientific Model of Causality
Causality is a very intuitive notion that is difficult to make precise without lapsing into tautology. Two ingredients are central to any definition: (1) a set of possible outcomes (counterfactuals) generated by a function of a set of ‘‘factors’’ or ‘‘determinants’’ and (2) a manipulation where one (or more) of the ‘‘factors’’ or ‘‘determinants’’ is changed. An effect is realized as a change in...
متن کاملSymbols in Wittgenstein’s Tractatus
This paper is concerned with the status of a symbol in Wittgenstein’s Tractatus. It is claimed in the first section that a Tractarian symbol, whilst essentially a syntactic entity to be distinguished from the mark or sound that is its sign, bears its semantic significance only inessentially. In the second and third sections I pursue this point of exegesis through the Tractarian discussions of n...
